EPIC 2020

We are about to enter a new decade and this has made me think about all of what I have acheived thus far and what I want to achieve moving forward.

Frankly for many people including me, 2019 has been a shit year and I for one will not be sorry to see it end.

How can we start the new decade with a bang and make sure it is EPIC, here are some of my thoughts you may find helpful. (I feel I have to warn you that EPIC is going to be my new word for 2020).

If like me you had a challening 2019, make sure that the past stays in the past, learn the lessons however I wont let it stop me from doing anything new. Just becuase it didnt work last time doesn’t mean it wont work this time

Watch your self talk... the stories you tell yourself, because we often base these on past negative expereinces, what we could have done better.

I am going to be kind to myself, as Tanja often says in her sessions more wand and less whip.

Its important that you know your currency what you are worth to yourself, your partner, family, friends and at work. Remember life will pay you the price you ask for.

Im going to spoil myself, self gifting is awesome buy something special for yourself from you....

I will increase my learning by doing something really different to what I do every day.

I know a lot of people however I am going to focus on make my circle tighter, staying connected with people in 2020 where we are fiercely loyal to each other and will have each others backs.

To make make even more epic ripples on things that are important not just to me but future generations of women

Often I review what I want to do more of, well this year I am also going to do a review of what I want to do less of. Things like, less time on social media, less time cleaning my house, less time in meetings…

I use December as the pre planning stage, last weekend I cleaned out my waredrobe, this weekend I will declutter my bathroom draws, then my kitchen, whatever that looks like for you start doing it now, not in Jan, you really want to come back to work after the holidays organised and refreshed with everything in place.

I would love you to take the time to plan your 2020 goals, start with your personal goals first, business will flow into this, be ok to put yourself first. The best advise my dad has ever given me, and he loves to give me advise, was that if I did the right thing by myself I would always do the right thing by others.

Its a bit like putting your oxygen mask on first before you help anyone else.

Most importanly once you are ready to write down your epic goals for 2020, be selfish when you write these, put yourself as a prioirty, ask yourself if 2020 is going to be EPIC, where you will grow, deepen connections, increase your currency, where you will be loved, cherished and reach the end of 2020 having had an epically successful year what would that look like.

Then once you have these written down put them somewhere where you can see them every day. This will keep you on track and remember opportunties will come your way, be open to them, be flexible and agile in how you approach them.

Often when you start to focus and shake things up doors will open that you never imagined would open.
